Communications: Cell Phone Dialing Guide
Basic Calling Information
- Mobile phone numbers in Germany contain 10 or 11 digits.
- Mobile phone numbers are assigned three- or four-digit non-geographic prefixes.
- When calling a mobile phone from within Germany, always dial the DAC ("0") before the subscriber number. Do not dial this access code when calling from another country.

- When making an international call to a mobile phone in Germany, dial: Germany's country code [49] + mobile phone prefix* + remaining eight digits of mobile phone number.
