Ingredients
- 4 large red or yellow potatoes, cut into sticks
- 2 Tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Ketchup, as needed for serving
- Mayonnaise, as needed for serving
Directions
- Preheat oven to 428°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment.
- Place potato sticks in a large bowl.
- Sprinkle potatoes with olive oil and salt, tossing to coat.
- Spread coated potato sticks out onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake fries in the upper third of the oven for about 20 minutes.
- Flip fries over and continue baking for 10 minutes, or until well browned.
- Serve fries hot with ketchup and mayonnaise on the side.
